When asked to come up with a project, I went with my immediate thought, a podcast. I however decided to live stream the event. As someone who spends a lot of time on the internet, I watch a lot of live streams, especially those who just sit and chat with a group of people, usually friends.

I’ve decided that I would start with the basics, live video and audio. I’ll be streaming on my Youtube channel. Found at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCVobXwrzN_l9hB3cj4kYHWg , or by simply searching for Paul Whitmoyer in the Youtube search bar. The live streams I will be doing are generally be discussing a topic, or playing a game while talking about whatever topic comes up. Every other week starting hopefully this weekend, on Saturdays, I will start up a live stream at either 11am or at 3pm.

I chose this project because I have always wanted to make Youtube videos, which if you look at my channel, you will see that I already have a few videos, which aren’t the best in quality, but it’s a start isn’t it. When asked the question why I chose this project, it was because it’s important to me. It’s important to me because I’ve always wanted to become someone, to be known and appreciated. When I discovered more about Youtube, I began to think that it was something I would be interested in doing.

I hope to gain skills in editing videos, being comfortable enough to speak in front of an audience, as well as collaboration skills. I’m also hoping to learn new things from my viewers, and maybe to teach them some things as well. I hope that I can also support my future income by uploading videos and live streaming.
